DSEHC internal Workshop (iWork):

Being a large team of researchers engaged in diverse research topics, the center monitors the progress of the various domains by holding periodic internal workshops aptly named iWork. Faculty, center staff, and students associated with DSEHC are invited to the workshops along with industry and affiliated collaborators. The workshops are usually a half-day affair and are scheduled like a mini-conference wherein domain-wise presentations are made to the entire DSEHC team. The coordinators of each domain usually present a high-level overview followed by detailed technical progress presented by relevant staff and students. This interaction provides a rich opportunity for interdisciplinary discussions planting seeds for new ideas to initiate and flourish.

DSEHC coordinators meeting:

The various domain coordinators make it a point to meet weekly once. The day-to-day fires of running the center are sorted out at this weekly coordinator meeting. This is usually an informal meeting that lasts an hour or so and is usually located at the same “war” room in MSRC. While the coordinators may fight it out inside this room, they usually shake their hands and come out as a well-coordinated team. Such regular meetings have brought out the fact that each team is not working alone but towards a larger goal of meeting the center deliverables.
